SSSGC in NCGA Net Amateur Championship in 2023

30th NCGA NET AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP

FORMAT:  Individual, Net Scoring (with 95% of course handicap)
SSSGC SELECTION DATE:  June 27 - Home Event @ Sunnyvale Muni
​SECTION QUALIFIER:  Sept 13 - 15
SECTION QUALIFIER SITES:  Del Monte, Poppy Ridge, Metropolitan & 3 others
CHAMPIONSHIP (Mon, Tues):   Oct 9 & 10
CHAMPIONSHIP SITE:  Poppy Hills, Pebble Beach

SSSGC MEMBERS

 SSSGC is pleased to announce the registration sponsorship of  two players from our group for the NCGA Amateur Net Tournament event using the scores from the JUNE 27th HOME low net tournament.  The Sponsorship has been awarded to:

Vernon Eachus  -   Net score 69
Joseph DeLateur  -  Net score 70 

Both of these players will be playing a qualifying round this September with the hopes of making it to the championship round at Poppy Hills in October.

QUALIFYING ROUND

Joe DeLateur and Vernon Eachus played in the qualifying round at Coyote Creek Valley Course on Sept 15. 

49 competitors were playing for one of the 14 spots in the Championship round at Pebble Beach later in October.   Joe (net 78) and Vern (net 90) missed qualifying for the Championship round.
