REFER A NEW MEMBER - Get A Free Round of Golf    (8/14/15)

A free round (green fees) at Sunnyvale Muni GC will be given to a member who refers a new member to the club ("referred by" on the membership form). 

When SSSGC receives the new member's application form and check, a credit for green fees will be placed in the account of the referring member.  The member must be identified on the form as the referring member.  

​Members can use the credit to pay for green fees or merchandise at the pro shop.

MEMBERS' HANDICAP INDEX  (H.I.)

The latest Members' Handicap Indices from the World Handicap System

WORLD HANDICAP SYSTEM

Player's Handicap Index now follows the new World Handicap System.  This allow players to play on courses around the world using their handicap index and play with people from other countries using the same handicap system

POSTING YOUR SCORES
Post your scores as usual at the course or through the Internet (use My NCGA app or the NCGA.com website).  The maximum hole score for handicap purposes (for posting your score) will be limited to Net Double Bogey (Par + 2 + any handicap strokes you receive on that hole)

YOUR HANDICAP INDEX & YOUR PLAYING HANDICAP
1.     The Handicap Index (H.I.) calculation will be based off your 8 best scores out of the past 20

2.     Your Handicap Index (H.I.) will be updated the day after you post a score (Daily if you play everyday)

3.     You will have a Playing Handicap.  The Slope Rating, Course Rating and Par will be used to determine your Playing Handicap, allowing players to compete from different tees more easily

SSSGC Board has decided that members with a Handicap Index (H.I.) of 20.0 or more may play from the Red tees at Home events unless otherwise dictated by the event format
